I’m Cerith Mathias, a journalist and television producer from Wales suffering from a severe case of wanderlust. I love to travel, to read about travel, to plan my travels and  to write about my adventures and experiences.

My itchy feet have taken me all over the world, from those first student sojourns on a shoestring in Europe to more recently a year long round the world honeymoon.

Lately I’ve found a cunning way to combine  my love of departure lounges with my other passion – literature, in particular that with an American flavour. I write literary travel pieces on authors, their characters and their stomping grounds and am currently writing a travel guide on America’s Deep South.
